ORDINANCE NO. 50, 2026
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, KENTUCKY,
FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 2026, PAYABLE IN
THE YEAR 2027, ON THE BANK DEPOSITS FRANCHISE TAX
FOR REVENUE PURPOSES BY THE CITY OF ASHLAND.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF ASHLAND,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied for the year
2026, payable in the year 2027, a Bank Deposit Franchise Tax for
revenue purposes by the City of Ashland, at a tax rate of 0.025 on
each one hundred dollars ($100.00) value of such property for
the following City purposes:
DIVISION
FUND OF RATE
General Fund ....................................................................$0.025
Total City Rate ..................................................................$0.025
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
confl ict herewith, to the extent of such confl ict only, are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
eff ect from and after its adoption, readoption and publication, as
required by law.
